On Sunday, January 19th Dr. Updegraff will be joining hundreds of other swimmers in the 5th Annual, 5k Tampa Bay Frogman Charity Swim to raise money for wounded Navy Seals. Since its conception in 2010, the Frogman has been gaining exposure and participants. For the past two years there has been a wait list just to enter. This year their goal is to raise $300,000 for the foundation.
The Frogman donates 100% of its proceeds to the Navy Seal Foundation who supports wounded and fallen Navy Seals and their families. If you would like to come out to support Dr. Updegraff and the rest of the athletes for this wonderful cause please join us at the start on Gandy Beach St. Petersburg or the finish at Picnic Island Tampa. The opening ceremony starts at 7:50 am and the After Race Party and Ceremony will be held at Hula Bay Bar & Grill (5210 West Tyson Ave. Tampa, FL 33616) at 11:30 am.
