Two years ago, one of Dr. Stephen Updegraff‘s patients recorded his entire experience with LASIK at Updegraff Vision in a series of blog posts. You can find the first three parts, No More Excuses, Why Dr. Updegraff, and The Best 45 Seconds of My Life, in previous posts.
Well, it has been a while since I have checked in, and it has been about 2 months since I had my LASIK surgery. As we enter into “winter” here in Florida, my business slows down a little and it gives me time to reflect and regroup heading into 2011.
There are so many things to be thankful for, and 2010 was a good year. One of the things that I am most thankful for is my new vision that Dr. Updegraff gave me.
I expressed how excited I was right after I had my surgery, and the excitement has not declined. My vision is as good now, if not better, since right after I had my LASIK procedure.
The thing that I am most impressed with is that everything happened exactly like Dr. Updegraff told me it would. The surgery, the recovery, my vision, it is and was everything that he said it would be.
I guess the thing that I want to leave you with is that my LASIK surgery was a fantastic experience and in my mind Dr. Updegraff was the main reason. Going through the whole experience and being on the other side now makes me thankful that I had one of the best eye surgeons in the world taking me through it.
