Last week, the Blue Ocean Film Festival concluded in St. Petersburg. The Updegraff Laser Vision team wrapped up the event as more than just sponsors, they left as part of a tightly-knit ocean community who came together for a greater good. Films were debuted and released, celebrities walked the blue carpet and everyone shared visions for ocean conservation in the future.
The Blue Ocean Film Festival, held alternately in St. Petersburg and Monaco, grows exponentially each year and has become a place for conservationists and ocean-lovers alike to openly discuss the global push for ocean conservation.
Dr. Updegraff, who both attended and sponsored the event, feels very close to “Blue’s” mission and vision. As an avid paddle-boarder and ocean lover, Dr. Steve Updegraff has the upmost respect for the ocean and its inhabitants.
